CBM Formula
CBM = Length (m) × Width (m) × Height (m). Enter your carton dimensions in any unit and the calculator converts them to meters automatically.
Volumetric Weight
Sea freight: L×W×H (cm) ÷ 1000 = Vol. Weight (kg). Air freight: L×W×H (cm) ÷ 6000 = Vol. Weight (kg). Carriers charge the higher of actual or volumetric weight.
Container Sizes
20ft: 589×230×230 cm (~31 CBM). 40ft: 1200×230×230 cm (~63 CBM). Container fill is theoretical — actual loading depends on carton shape and stacking.
